Story:

The painting represents the Artist’s great grandmother’s Songline (from Borroloola) the Stone Dreaming. This painting shows the Stones represented by the white dots moving over country. These lands are scrub or hills indicated by the entwined lines or large curve lines. From country and the varying lands people find white chalk used for body paint or on paintings. The three central areas of the painting symbolise the white chalk. The Stones within the painting represent strength, spirituality and resilience.
