Shipping and delivery policy
Raintree Art delivers items Australia-wide and overseas using Australia Post or FedEx, depending on the nature and size of your purchase(s). Our shipping costs are between $12.95–$18.95 for standard delivery and from $19.90 for Express Post services within Australia. These costs can be calculated prior to checkout and are then added to the shopping cart before checkout. Our TNT/FedEx and Express Post delivery options include tracking reference number shared with our customers via email.
We endeavour to dispatch all orders that don’t require framing within 2 business days. Express orders placed before midday are usually dispatched same day, otherwise within 24 hours. Shipping times are estimated at between 3–7 business days depending on your location within Australia and 7–14 days for overseas orders. The total costs are displayed in the shopping cart and include all taxes and handling charges.
Small paintings that require framing are usually framed by Raintree Art and will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks. Larger paintings are sent to our preferred framer within a few business days. These will be dispatched to you from the framer within 3 weeks from date of purchase. Please note, we cannot deliver framed paintings overseas.
Standard postage times may change during peak periods in November and December.
Free Shipping on Paintings over $100
Shipping is free when you buy a painting priced at $100 or over, including framing. However, please note that if you buy a painting and include giftware in the same order, you will be charged shipping. This is because, in most cases, we have to send the painting and the giftware items separately. In effect, we cover the cost of the tube or parcel the painting is shipped in but charge you for the postage cost of the giftware items. If we are able to send the giftware with the painting, we will refund your shipping.
Shipping destinations
Raintree Art ships goods Australia-wide and internationally.
Due to tariffs introduced by the US government, as well as third party processing fees, the process to post items to the US has changed and subsequently impacted the way Raintree Art is able to accommodate such orders. As such, until further notice, we are no longer able to ship to the US. We're very sorry to our US-based customers.
Payment options
Raintree Art offers an extensive range of payment options including Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, JCB, Mastercard, Shop Pay, Visa, inter-bank Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and PayPal. We also offer the option of Layby, with a 20% deposit required and the balance to be paid off within 4 months. Our Layby option is only available via EFT.
Transaction currency
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
International import duties and taxes
International import duties and taxes (such as VAT, excise duties, custom duties) may be applicable depending on where you reside. Raintree Art is not responsible for the amount you may be charged for any or all of the international import duties and taxes applicable to your purchase(s), and you will need to contact your postal service with any questions about what that amount might be.
