Refund and returns policy
For giftware:
At Raintree Art we take great pride in the items we stock. We respectfully request that you chose your purchase(s) carefully. If you receive an item and wish to return it because you have simply changed your mind, we can refund you the cost of the items but not the postage fee. You will also need to cover the return postage cost. Items must be returned in the same condition they were in when you received them. Refunds will be processed once we have received the returned goods.
Our refund and returns policy is valid for fourteen (14) days from the date of your purchase.
For paintings:
We understand that purchasing an original painting can be a significant financial decision. As such, if you purchase a painting without framing or stretching and simply change your mind about the painting once you receive it, we will offer you a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. You must cover the return postage costs, and the painting must be in the same condition it was when you received it. Refunds will be processed once we receive the returned painting(s).
If you purchase a painting with framing or stretching, we cannot offer a refund for change of mind.

For all purchases, under Australian Consumer Law:
You are entitled to a refund and return if:
- The item is faulty or damaged
- You were sent the wrong item
- The item is significantly different from the product images and description
You are not entitled to a refund and return because:
- You changed your mind
- You found the product cheaper elsewhere
- You don't like it
- You bought the wrong size
- The product has a fault that you knew about before you bought it. This includes instances where the fault was listed in the description.
If you are eligible for a return and refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. To return your product, you should mail your product to Raintree Art, 64 School Lane, Cambrian Hill VIC 3352, Australia.
Shipping and delivery policy
Raintree Art delivers items Australia-wide and overseas using Australia Post, TNT/FedEx or Pack’n’Send, depending on the nature and size of your purchase(s). Our shipping costs are generally between $12.95–$18.95 for standard delivery and from $19.90 for Express Post services within Australia. These costs are calculated prior to checkout and are then added to the shopping cart before checkout. Larger or bulkier items may incur higher shipping fees.
Our TNT/FedEx and Express Post delivery options include tracking reference number shared with our customers via email. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 3–7 business days depending on your location within Australia and 7–14 days for overseas orders. The total costs are displayed in the shopping cart and include all taxes and handling charges.

Shipping destinations
Raintree Art ships goods Australia-wide and internationally. We are currently unable to ship to the United States due to complications from tariffs.
Payment options
Raintree Art offers an extensive range of payment options including Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, JCB, Mastercard, Shop Pay, Visa, inter-bank Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), PayPal AfterPay and ZipPay. We also offer the option of Layby, with a 20% deposit required and the balance to be paid off within 4 months.
Transaction currency
Transactions are processed in the currency of the shipping destination. If you are an Australian-based customer sending a gift overseas, your transaction may be processed in a foreign currency. Please be aware of any currency conversion fees your financial institution may charge as a result.
International import duties and taxes
International import duties and taxes (such as VAT, excise duties, custom duties) may be applicable depending on where you reside. Raintree Art is not responsible for the amount you may be charged for any or all of the international import duties and taxes applicable to your purchase(s), and you will need to contact your postal service with any questions about what that amount might be. It is not possible for us to know if you will be charged, nor how much any charges will amount to.
