Painted in Central Australia in 2024 on a black canvas piece, this is an intricately painted design depicting the Australian zebra finch.
Kathleen likes to make her bird paintings feel more realistic, which she has done here with beautiful detail in grey, red and white plumage, with a flash of black and white stripes to its tail feathers.
Background is made up of Kathleen's signature fine dot work, using contrasting colours of green and red with brown to compliment the finch's feathers.
Comes ready to hang or stand in black matted frame.
