'Emu' mini artwork by Kathleen Buzzacott, Aboriginal Pitjantjatjara woman.

Painted in Central Australia in 2024 on a black canvas piece, this is an intricately painted design depicting the Australian Emu. 

The Emu is painted in a grey colour, with white, red and yellow body paint. There are also Emu tracks in red in the background, which are used by Aboriginal communities for travelling and hunting.  

Background is made up of Kathleen's signature fine dot work, using contrasting colours of purple, green, white and red to bring the Emu to life. 

Comes ready to hang or stand in white matted frame.
