Painted in Central Australia in 2024 on a black canvas piece, this is an intricately painted design depicting the Australian Echidna.
The Echidna is painted in light brown with yellow spines and a darker brown is used to create the face and claws. The Echidna appears to be curled up into a ball position, which is not only physically protective, but it also can provide camouflage from predators.
Background is made up of Kathleen's signature fine dot work, using contrasting colours of purple, green, orange and red to bring the Echidna to life.
Comes ready to hang or stand in white matted frame.
