Nulla Nulla - Darren Kamprina & Selina Numina Kamprina

Sale price$450.00 AUD

This finely hand-painted Nulla Nulla is a unique piece of Aboriginal Art, painted by Selina Numina Kamprina. The wood was carefully collected from Central Australia by Selina's husband, Darren Kamprina.

The Nulla Nulla is beautifully adorned with black paint, vibrant red ochre and yellow bands, and delicate white dot detailing, showcasing traditional Aboriginal motifs and storytelling. These designs represent the deep cultural connection to the land.

While traditionally a tool for striking, this Nulla Nulla has been carefully crafted for aesthetic purposes, making it an ideal addition to any collection. Its weight and solid build reflect its cultural significance and timeless beauty. It measures 92 cm in length and 4.5 cm in width and is made from solid Mulga wood. 2.2kgs in weight

Since it is hand-made, there are some small imperfections in the wood and the application of paint, adding to the authenticity of the artefact. A one-of-a-kind work of art, this Nulla Nulla is a meaningful representation of Australia's Aboriginal heritage.
