Your Tjanpi purchase supports minyma (women) living in the remote Central and Western desert regions to earn an income from jewellery making and fibre art.
Every piece of Tjanpi seed jewellery is a unique piece of wearable art; hand made by a female Aboriginal artist from the central desert region of Australia. To make a piece of jewellery, first the artist collects the seeds – gumnuts. These seeds are native to central Australia and are only available in certain seasons. The gumnuts are from the various Eucalyptus trees in the region, and range in size depending on the type of tree.
Please note: we are currently unable to deliver to the United States. Due to the USA's tariffs, Australia Post has temporarily halted parcels being sent there. We are physically unable to send items to the United States. We apologise for the inconvenience but it is out of our control.
Raintree Art delivers items Australia-wide and overseas using Australia Post or FedEx, depending on the nature and size of your purchase(s). Our shipping costs are between $12.95–$18.95 for standard delivery and from $19.90 for Express Post services within Australia. These costs can be calculated prior to checkout and are then added to the shopping cart before checkout. Shipping times are estimated at between 3–7 business days depending on your location within Australia and 7–14 days for overseas orders.
We endeavour to dispatch all orders that don’t require framing within 2 business days. Express orders placed before midday are usually dispatched same day.
