Pink cockatoo by renowned artist/carver Thomas Munkanome (aka 'Cockatoo Man') in traditional Tiwi style. Thomas uses heavy ironwood he has foraged to carve his signature birds, being known worldwide for his cockatoos and pelicans.
This particular carving is painted pink, white and earthy red, with orange and black to create the traditional patterns on the wings and base.
