This is a larger version of the one-person teapot by Barbara Richards Ngwarray.
Individually crafted and painted by Barbara herself, this lovely design adorns both sides of the pot with differences in the way the ants are positioned. The red unglazed lid compliments the artwork whilst creating an interesting contrast in texture.
In this piece, the dominant colours are white with terracotta red, with details painted in black, yellow, and blue.
Glazed on white areas only, the painted surface (including lid) is unglazed.
