These are lightweight pendants on adjustable cotton thread with metal clasp, depicting Iwantja Tjukula design by Maringka Burton. 

Maringka Burton, a proud Anangu woman, was born in Western Australia near the site of the Anumara Tjukurpa (Catepillar Dreaming) and was one of the first women artists at the Iwantja Arts Centre. She was taught the practice of traditional healing by her father, Charlie Tjalkuriny (Burton), and is currently a highly regarded Ngangkari (traditional healer). In addition to her successful art career, Maringka enjoys Inma (traditional song and dance), and is a huge advocate of causes supporting women and youth in her community. 

Available in rectangle, round or teardrop shape, very rustic look, ideal for those who want a bold statement piece to add to their accessories collection.
