Kira Kiro Artists, located in the remote community of Kalumburu, is an inspiring Aboriginal artist studio deeply rooted in the unique rock art traditions of the Country. A significant figure in its establishment was Betty Bundamurra, a founding artist whose invaluable contributions helped shape the centre's enduring legacy. Through their vibrant works, Kira Kiro Artists beautifully depict local flora and fauna, sacred sites, and ancestral stories, preserving and sharing their rich cultural heritage.

This significant artistic endeavour receives ongoing support and collaboration from Waringarri Aboriginal Arts. Established in the 1980s in Kununurra, Waringarri is Western Australia's first fully Indigenous-owned art centre and one of the oldest in the country, playing a vital role in nurturing and promoting Indigenous art and culture across the Kimberley, including Kira Kiro Artists
