Kurranga Loose Leaf Tea - 5gm

$13.20

KURRANGA LOOSE LEAF TEA is a well known medicinal bush tea and has for thousands of years been used by Australia's Garrwa-Yanyuwa aboriginals for stomach ailments particularly diarrhea. The good news is it also tastes great. The taste of Kurranga is typically light with a subtle lemon flavour.

Wild harvested from Seven Emu station, Kurranga tea is hand picked straight from the bush and dried under natural conditions at the homestead. It doesn't get any more sustainable than that!

Kurranga can be served as a nice hot cup of tea or as a refreshing iced tea the same way as our Kulbanyi tea.

We harvest the trees using the traditional aboriginal methods used by Frank and his ancestors. The harvesting helps improve the health of the bush and promotes growth for next years harvest.

Kurranga tea leaves are harvested from the Grewia retusifolia plant and is commonly known as dogs balls because of the shape of the fruit which can also be eaten.

One 5g tin makes 10 cups.
